A downloadable game

The aim of the game is to protect your castle from the deadly, evil enemies that emerge from the Cave of Bokdun. You will fight them off in the Enchanted Forest, where every time the path is different, and use your extraordinary craftmanship to build powerful turrets. You will also have the privilege of using the castle’s most precious swords, to help you defeat all the enemies. Are you ready to defend your castle? It is your last hope to win against the army of Morgof and protect it from his evil grasps!

The Enemies

You will encounter many enemies in your path, increasing the amount of enemies as times passes

Bulls

Bulls are the followers of Listar the Giant, they are the most common enemies. Players will face them in most of their tasks, as the Bulls have been sent by Listar to take down the castle and conquer it. Bulls are the enemy with the most health, on the other side they are the slowest.

Fire Spirits

Fire Spirits are under the control of Morgof, as he is the master of spirits. They will start spawning from wave five, as Morgof is getting worried that the Bulls are failing.

Fire Spirits are immune from getting set on fire from all sources and takes 40% reduced damage from the fire turret’s field.

Ghost Spirits

Ghost Spirits are too under the control of Morgof, but they are first sent at wave seven to assist the fire spirits.

Ghost Spirits are floating, so they ignore the slowing field effect from the Ice Turret and are faster that the fire spirits.

Cursed Spiders

Spiders are the minions of Melchor and are from the Dimension of the Cursed. They are sent in at wave ten, to further reinforce the army.

Spiders use their cursed power to travel extremely quickly on the path, but they have the least amount of health, as using their speed powers makes the weaker.

The Bosses

Listar the Giant

Listar is the king of Bulls, he is being manipulated by Morgof to attack the castle with his vast army of Bulls.

Listar comes out of the cave at first at wave twenty-five and attacks the castle. Once defeated, he will charge to the nearest turret and destroy it. He will show up again at wave seventy-five in his enraged form, growing in size and he will do his final charge, once he is finally defeated.

Melchor

Melchor is the ruler of the Dimension of the Cursed and the right-arm of Morgof. He will decide to fight at wave fifty, as he is starting to get worried that too many of his minions are getting slaughtered.

At the start of the game, he puts an enchantment on the cave to make the enemies progressively faster every ten rounds. Melchor, also, uses his cursed power to travel at the fastest speeds and when the player finally defeats him, the enchantment will wear off and the enemies will stop speeding up.

Morgof

Morgof is the controller of spirits and the demon of the Deep Lands. He wants to destroy the castle to obtain the many treasures hidden within. He decided to attack the castle, as he managed to trick Listar to give him his army in exchange of the castle. In reality, he is planning to obliterate it and leave nothing behind!

Morgof will finally fight at wave one hundred (the last wave of the game), as his army is running out, so he decides to take matters in his own hands and destroy the castle himself.

Morgof is the most powerful and the hardest to take down. When first slayed, he respawns with half health and shows his true demonic form, speeding up dramatically.

The Weapons

To defend the castle you can wield powerful weapons and build various turrets to protect the castle.

You can upgrade your sword and imbue powerful abilities when the sword in fully upgraded, such as creating black holes or even making the turrets stronger.

Furthermore, you can upgrade the base plates adjacent to the path to powerful turrets, which include: Archer, Zap, Ice, Fire and Dragon. Each shooting powerful abilities to help you defeat the enemies.

Are you ready to build the strongest arsenal to deafeat the army of enemies?

Other Info

This game was created as a first year project, where I utilized Cellular Automata and A* Algorithm to create the random world generation

Requires a good CPU to run, as the game may slow down if the CPU is not good enough.
